There is a great possibility that you will live a lifetime after retirement that was not available to your parents or grandparents.

All through the years before retirement, we were busy, you know; school, family, children.  During those years you would think, daydream of what it would be like…

Then life gets in the way when you’re making plans, didn’t it?

Now for many of us, not all, what gets in the way of making plans is minimal.  So, what are you going to do with the rest of your life?  C’mon.  You know you thought of always wanting to do something you couldn’t when life was getting in the way.  Why not do it now?

We’re not talking around the world cruise or jetting to Monaco, although there are some that can now do that and have during their lifetime.  We are talking about activities for some adventures that can be affordable for retirees.

  • Restart old hobbies or start a new one.
  • Move to a new location.  It will make you see things differently
  • Do something new every week.  There are many volunteer positions in your local area.
  • Get a part time job.
  • Go to the gym, yoga, or Ti Chi.
  • Join a club
  • Write your memoirs and family history.
  • Learn a new language.
  • Learn a new skill.
  • Take small road or local trips throughout your or neighboring states.
  • Make new friends.
  • Enjoy your family
  • Keep moving with mind, spirit, and your physical being.

These are only some ideas.  Expand on them,  Enjoy them.

Happy Retirement!
